Sweet Birthday Surprises

Ding*A*Ling*A*Ling!!!
I love my birthday....I hope that doesn't sound selfish.
It is so nice to have a special day just for me....
to pick what I want to do and not have to cook.
Lunch was so nice {and yummy too)...with my good
friends and sisters at the Olive Garden.
And dinner with my family at 54th Street.
Nothin' fancy but de~lish!

I want to share some of the special gifts I have received this week:
First from my wonderful*dear*sweet blogging friend Becky.
I just love this gal to pieces.

I never told her but I LOVE bells!
and this one tops them all.
Isn't it great?!
{I live in Kansas City....so that makes it x~tra special!}

and this sweet little girlie statue. What a doll!

and a stack of the loveliest linens and fabric plus
some darling buttons and ric~rac.
Thank you dear friend...I sure hope that we can meet someday!!

The next gift is from my oldest friend in the world...
eeek. Let me re~word that!
My friend Tina has been my best friend since 7th grade...
the longest lasting friendship I have.
And she means so much to me.
She is a great friend...a wonderful mother....an inspiration.

She gave me this mug with one of my favorite Bible verses on it:

It is perfect and sweet.

Lastly.....not leastly :)....is the apron that Debbie gave me.
A girl can't have too many aprons! especially when they are this adorable...
She made it from vintage swiss dot fabric. I LOVE it!

{{the picture was taken in a very old mirror....that's why it's all dotty and cloudy....
don't you adore old mirrors! :) }}

So, once again....
**thanks to all of you who sent me birthday wishes
**thanks to my wonderful SiL Debbie for writing such a sweet post
and for being there anytime I need something....anything at all!
**and another BIG thanks for the very special gifts I received
I love you guys.
xoxo
Chasity

Oh lucky you!! What great surprises! I know it's bad form to ask where something came from but I live by "be still and know that I am God" If you could let me know where it was found I'd be ever so grateful!! I'll peruse the local christian book stores in the mean time!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Glad you didn't have to cook!
Hugs,Lisa

Chas, we love you because you are you. You are a blessing to me and so many others. I'm glad I was part of your day.

My children are tucked into their beds. I am going to lay my head down on my pillow, offer a prayer of thanksgiving for Josh's safe return, and go to sleep.
Nite. xoxo Debbie

A belated Happy Birthday, Chasity! Very sweet gifts. It feels good to have a day to ourselves once in awhile. Well once every year, anyway. Hope it's a wonderful one.

Happy belated birthday to you! Glad you had a great day.

I have two of the same linens with the basket of flowers stitched on them. My grandmother made them when she was a child. They are precious to me.
