ChasityHere is one of my favorite and easiest desserts to make (and eat)!
Not good if you are starting the new year with a diet in mind-unless the diet includes lots of sugary treats.
I guess I will call it:
Andes and Oreos (if you can come up with a more creative name...have at it)
1 Package of Oreo cookies
3/4 cup of butter
1/2
can of sweetened condensed milk
a bag of Andes crumbles (by the choco. chips and other baking items)
Run the Oreos through the food processor and put them into a 9x13 pan. Melt the butter and add to the Oreo crumbs. Mix well. In the microwave, melt the condensed milk with about 1/2 the bag of Andes crumbles. Stir and pour over the top of the Oreos layer. Sprinkle top with unmelted Andes. (make sure to eat a handful of them first) Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Cool. Let set up in the fridge. Then
enjoy. Goes great with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
DeborahO.k. perhaps we're heading the wrong way here with high calorie goodies, but one thing I've learned over the years...going all or nothing on your diet, usually ends up with you off your diet, permanantly. So, exercise, watch your calories, and cut back on your portions most of the time! But on a cold winter morning when you need a really special treat, try my favorite concoction!
Peppermint Cocoaccino Nog3/4 cup of Peppermint Coffee
1/2 package of instant Cocoa
1/4 cup of Egg Nog
It's so rich and creamy! What an indulgent treat!
