What the Season is REALLY About

Giving.

Thanks so much to everyone that has given their time....

their money....

their thoughts.....

their prayers.....

to help my sister Shauna and her wonderful family.

It is amazing to see the generosity in people's hearts~~

Today at Radiation treatments...
Shauna was telling me about a Christmas Jar that was left anonymously
for them the other night.

I had never heard of it.

but I came home and found the meaning of it on the computer.

Please click here to read a story of one brave little boy and his battle with cancer.

It is life changing. Really.

What touched my heart so much was the words I read
"but why do they want to help me?"

Those were almost the exact words that Shauna had said to me.
"They don't even know me. Why do they want to help me?"

And the answer is

Because they see what a good person you are.

They see the love that you have for others

and your unselfish heart.

We are all touched by your generous spirit and your courage.

You never complain and you never ask why.

You look for the good that can come from your struggles.

People love you~~

Yes, even those that have never met you.

Your beautiful light shines so far.

It is good to know that all people really are good and we help when really needed. I know I should help more on a smaller daily basis, but it is wonderful that when someone really needs there is someone there for us. Thank you for sharing your wonderful family with us all.

Merry Christmas!
Hugs, Lisa

I must read about this Christmas Jar! The season is about Jesus,
Jesus was about Love,
Love is about giving.
Giving is the greastest thing you can do in the love of Jesus!
Merry Christmas and God Bless your family!
