Bonjour mes amis.
I received a most wonderful cadeau in the mail yesterday afternoon.
It was international...
aren't those always exciting?
The package came from afar....from this lovely home in France.

It was something I won from a blog giveaway....
from Maggie at Normandy Life.
Now that is living the romantic dream, isn't it?
A 16th century ivy covered home in the beautiful French countryside.

This is the sweet treat that I won
~A cafe au lait cup and creamer~

They were produced in the late 1950's in a village called
St. Jean de Poterie
...in the region of Brittany.
Aren't they marvelous?
Merci~~Maggie!
I adore them
Now if you will excusez moi....s'il vous plait.
I'm going to get the brewing started so that I can sip my cafe au lait in the early morning fog and pretend that I'm looking out onto a French field of sweet smelling hay bales and grazing sheep.
avez une bonne journee~~

Confessions of a farm chick: Yes, I am blond, menopausal and I just wanted to admit my DUH moment.(like I only have one) I was thinkin' Walnut Grove, Fair Grove, Ash Grove (all around Stockton where I grew up) I just threw Oak Grove in with the group of Groves! Around KC, right? Oops, my bad!
