Usually I am a
"everything has a place and everything needs to be in its place"
kind of gal
for some reason~this life theory doesn't apply to my crafting area...
It's a layered/stacked/{do I have to say cluttered}
kind of place that is full of goodies that make me smile
you just may recognize some of the goodies
....cuz some of them have come from you....
I'd like to say that the clutter is a sign of creative genius...
however, my genius skills have been hiding away lately
maybe it's burnout~~or maybe it's just plain busy~ness
anyway~it's fun to sit here and look at it all

Well, I must say that I'd love to cozy up and craft in that room for awhile! Looks wonderful to me!!
I have a craft corner and right now it is more of a place for things to gather that don't have another place! Need to fix that cause then I use the dining room table!

Maybe you need to come "shopping" in mom's craft room! I cleaned it yesterday. Do you need any frames?
I told dad that maybe you girls needed to come shopping and he said, "it ain't gonna happen.". Number 2 sister said that she has an idea for the pumpkin carving contest that is going to blow the rest of us away. I think that made dad think of blowing things away, so he said that we were going to make some kind of thing that actually blows the other pumpkins away!. Get ready.

gee, you sound like me...i have been doing a lot of looking at my creative goodies...but not much creating is going on...hopefully we will both get our groove back soon!!!
Chasity...have you been in my craft room lately? lol. This post is one I could have written...right at this moment I am in creative chaos! it is so hard for me when i feel like my creative genius is hiding away. i am happy to hear you found the joy in just being surrounded by your supplies though :) that's always a good thing!
I think your studio is the one place you should feel free to let everything just "be". I see pictures of others' studios with everything all neatly organized and neatly tucked away and I say to myself, "How can the objects speak to me if they're all tucked away where I can't see them?" I like when I can put my eyes on the stuff...that's what inspires me! Don't worry, you'll get your creativity back in no time. The Holidays are coming and that's always a most creatively inspiring time of year!
