Made to Last

Meet the new baby in my house......it is an Arts & Crafts sideboard from the early 1900s.
My house is a 1901 Arts and Crafts so it is only fitting that I have the furniture to match.
{I do love so many of my fellow bloggers' white painted furniture...doesn't fit this house though}

The hand-forged hammered drawer pulls and rings are what really sold me...
isn't the patina lovely?

They just don't make furniture this well anymore......

Thank-you for stopping by my blog. I may be one of few that has only one piece of white distressed furniture myself. I love dark wood and the arts & crafts style, too. Beautiful sideboard! And great hardware, too. :)

I think its great that you found a piece in such great condition! If we all had all white wouldn't that be boring. Its so great to go around and see everyone's different styles!
