Straightening and Fluffing {no, not my hair}

*tonight I hosted our monthly Ladies Bible Study at my house. Boy, if that isn't motivation to get the house clean, I don't know what is! So, I am doing a little poem about how I got my house ready to entertain. ***Warning***English professors may want to turn back now! There is absolutely no formal structure to the poem that is to follow...just a bunch of words that haphazardly rhyme....ah, it's fun anyway. {{sorry Dr. Stein}}

The Frenzy

I'm cleaning like crazy to have some gals over.
I clean up the tub.

I sure have to scrub.

I polish and shine.

Get quilts off the line.

Now vaccuum the rugs.

Quick! Buy some new mugs.

There's cooking and baking.

But no time for raking.

I'm dusting and mopping....
A little more shopping.

Fill Vases with Flowers.

Yikes---less than an hour!

Some candles to light.

Come in!
We'll have a great night.

We had a great time. Now enough said.
I must put up my feet.
And lay down my head.

go on now....i'm resting.

Chasity, you are GOOD! English professors would applaud. This was really cute, and I'm leaving to go put my own feet up in my bed.

Ahhh, Chas, I wish I lived close enough to be a part of your Bible Study group:(
Sounds like y'all have a great time and your house looked fabulous:)

Thinking about you and still praying that somehow God can get you to our retreat.
