Mud wrestling and Summer Fun

Good morning Friends!

Just a short, little postie, because I intended to be on for just a smidge, then I was trying to catch up on your lovely blogs (I'm still not done) and voila...how did 9 get here so fast? Alas, there is some kind of time/black whole continuum that exists in blog land. It causes time to pass exceedingly fast, and makes your coffee cool off at the speed of light, causing frequent quick jaunts to the microwave so you can sip it while you read one more posts!!!

I have plans of painting a few things today. ( Like most days...we'll see what I get done :) We have a few more projects than time right now, but I am loving it.

We are in the building on stage. Well, I like to think we are. I like to call it that. Maybe you could say we're in the frog housing project stage.

Give me your green, your slimy...

A home for every frog...That's our motto.

Need a place to croak, we gotcha covered, baby!

You see, we have a whole, right up next to our house. Um hmm. A 40 foot by 30 foot whole, approximately 10 feet deep.

It is our future basement to our addition. No concrete yet.

That was supposed to be three, count 'em, three weeks ago.

However, 10 inches of rain and pouring concrete evidently don't jive.
I think to myself, if the concrete were poured, it would seem more real. It might at least look like we were going to put in one whopper doozy of a swimming pool,
not a mud wrestling pit...
(don't think the boys haven't tried).

But, the frogs are happy. I mean really happy. And let me tell you they are singing about it!
I'm hoping to post a few pictures...
but my computer is being picky and is not opening them right now.
Rascally computer!

Before I go, let me pass on a link (if I did it right...we'll see) of a blog that Chas found that is just lovely.

It has the neatest little summer project for your kiddos...
if they love the water,
and you don't have your own personal mud pit for them to play in.
You'll find it here at Heather's blog, Blessed little Nest.

I hope you all have a super duper day!
Love, Debbie

{edited: my computer locked up and ate 299 photos...argh!!!}

I can only imagine just how much fun this looks like to your boys. I mean just how many times can you watch your kids play in the mud and with frogs, all from within the comfort of your home.

Frogs, holes, rain and mud sounds like heaven for little boys. I am hoping you can take your computer to a Mr. fix it and he can retrieve your pictures...they can sometimes Debbie.
Have a great weekend....many prayers for Shauna always.....Hugs
