Fluffing the Nest

Remember last week when I started fluffing my bedroom...
trying to get it ready before we started back to school?

It has been really fun adding the little touches to it....
...the little things that make it my own...

*My cares wash away and I feel
restful peace just by walking in*

*I added the chandeliers*

*a new set of curtains*

*I added antique door knobs to the nails where my christening gowns are hung*

* a little rearranging*

*I covered the headboard with a vintage curtain*

however..... I pulled some old shutters from my sisters barn and I am
hoping

to convert them into a headboard........
if it works, I'll be sure to show you that as well.

It is turning into my own personal La Madone...

in fact I'm thinking of making a sign for the door with the new name of my bedroom~

La Chambre Couronne...

hugs to you~~~`

Great job Chasity! I love your new chandeliers and the bed looks so cozy! Okay, did you buy or make those fabulous toile pillow and blanket set? I love it!!!
Where are the chandeliers from? I saw one just like that this weekend that I am keeping bookmarked in my mind for when I find someone to hardwire it for me! :)
It looks wonderful, you should be very proud!!
